Please share a little about your background, personally and/or professionally.

In my career, I have been fortunate to work with non-profits, corporate entities, numerous volunteer gigs, and small businesses. Along the way, the one constant has been colleagues and friends who have told me that I should be a Coach and share my intuitive gifts. Since 2019, I have been in the role of an Intuitive Transformational Life Coach and it’s been the most empowering choice I’ve made for my career. I work with women who are ready to stop chasing shortcuts to authenticity and commit fully to transforming their lives. Together, we uncover how past patterns and choices have kept them stuck, embrace honest self-reflection, and take decisive action to align their mindset with their true desires. My approach empowers women to move forward with confidence, pride, and clarity, unlocking the life they genuinely want to create. Whether you’re seeking change in your personal or professional life you must lead from a place of clarity. The change you seek begins with the choices you make.

Please share more about your current position and place of work. How have you grown professionally/personally in this role?

I coach how I live and live how I coach – vulnerably, authentically and kindly. My original business, SchuhHawsey Creative provided marketing, communications and project management for small business owners. In 2018 when I was ready to transition to something new, my final client was a newly certified Life Coach who couldn’t make a decision to save her life and unbeknownst to me I was coaching her through her entire branding, marketing, launching process. She mentioned that she thought I’d be a fantastic coach and so here I am ready to work with you. In addition to being an Intuitive Transformation Life Coach, I’m also a Reiki Master, Meditation Instructor, published poet, and will be releasing my first coaching book in Spring 2025. I also have a podcast, Shift Today with Alison that can be found on all podcast platforms and on YouTube.

What drew you to being a mentor for an entrepreneurial group curated for non-men? How has being a woman or non-binary individual impacted your professional journey?

My experience has been the greatest mentors were action oriented mentees. I have been a mentee and a mentor and have enjoyed the entire ride so far. And I believe together we can change the world. As a compassionate yet no nonsense woman I have always followed my intuition through success and discomfort, never losing sight of who I am and what I can achieve. This is one of my superpowers that I believe I help to empower within others.

What are three things you enjoy doing outside of work?

Kayaking, Gardening, all things creative.

What is your go-to piece of advice for professionals, entrepreneurs, or anyone looking to you for guidance?

You are in charge of your legacy, make your choices count.

What is a professional achievement that you are most proud of, and why are you proud of it?

I have two – 1) I have always asked for the salary that I deserve and I have always received it. 2)Walking away from a toxic corporate environment, when I was asked to lower my integrity, values and told reposition my character to appease clientele.
