LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 1, 2024) – The Venture Center is excited to announce its selection as Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee’s nonprofit of the month for August. This collaboration will highlight The Venture Center’s dedication to fostering the growth and success of local small businesses and entrepreneurs in the community.

Throughout August, Guillermo’s will donate $5 to The Venture Center for each one-pound bag of Guillermo’s Charity Blend coffee sold. This initiative is a testament to Guillermo’s commitment to their core values: Coffee, community, and culture.

“Partnering with Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee perfectly aligns with our mission to support and elevate Arkansas businesses,” said Arthur Orduña, executive director of The Venture Center. “We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our programs and the community. And who doesn’t love a good cup of coffee?”

The nonprofit of the month initiative includes digital advertising and social media promotion throughout August. Guillermo’s will highlight The Venture Center’s mission and work, aiming to raise awareness and support within the community.

“We do have this really cool platform here at Guillermo’s where a lot of people come in—businessmen, businesswomen, realtors, small business owners, everyone coming together and trying to help each other out,” said James Alley, co-owner of Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee. “I think that reaching out to other nonprofits who are doing that as well, bringing the community together, can really help make a difference.”

Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee, located at 10700 North Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock, is open seven days a week. The Charity Blend coffee bags are available for purchase in-store, with Guillermo’s guaranteeing a minimum donation of $150 to ensure meaningful support for The Venture Center’s initiatives.
