Olivia Farrell retired in 2019 as the Chief Executive Officer of the Arkansas Business Publishing Group that publishes Arkansas Business, Little Rock Soirée, Little Rock Family, and over 20 other niche publications and websites.
As the General Partner of Arkansas Business LP, she successfully oversaw the sale of the assets of the company to Five Legged Stool LLC. The company was honored with over 105 national and local awards for outstanding journalism, publication and website design, and excellence in publishing and web development.
Farrell began her publishing career in 1978 when the company’s annual revenues were $100,000. When she retired, Arkansas Business Publishing Group enjoyed revenues exceeding $9,000,000 and employed 70 people. In 2020, Farrell was inducted into the University of Arkansas Business Hall of Fame and in 2019 was inducted into the Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame.
She was also recognized in 2019 by the Rotary Club 99 as the Business and Professional Leader of the Year and awarded the Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
